About The Role

The Senior Commercial Analyst will play a key role in supporting our Commercial teams by providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations. In this role, you will build and maintain interactive dashboards (primarily in Tableau), perform light data engineering tasks (using Tableau Prep), and leverage SQL to manipulate datasets. A strong finance background—particularly in revenue recognition, cost matching, and accrual/deferral concepts—is essential to accurately interpret and explain performance metrics. Experience or familiarity with Salesforce or HubSpot is also a plus.

What You'll Do

  • Designing and delivering insightful data visualisations and dashboards to drive informed decision-making
  • Preparing, cleaning and analysing complex data sets to uncover trends, risks and opportunities
  • Conducting in-depth financial and commercial analysis
  • Partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to provide analytical insights that enhance campaign effectiveness and market reach
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across departments to align on goals, share insights and support cross-functional initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and championing best practices to improve efficiency and consistency across the team

Requirements

We'd love to meet you especially if you can tell us about your:

  • Ability to develop, maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards and visualisations that track KPIs for Sales and Marketing
  • Eye for detail to ensure data integrity and consistent reporting across multiple sources (e.g. CRM, finance, marketing automation platforms)
  • Experience utilising Tableau Prep or other ETL tools to cleanse, combine, and transform raw data
  • Understanding of core finance principles (e.g. revenue recognition, cost matching, accruals, deferrals) to interpret commercial performance accurately
  • Ability to communicate insights and recommendations clearly to a variety of stakeholders, including senior management
