About the Role:
Mood is seeking a Sourcing & Logistics Specialist. English and Dutch to a high level written and spoken required. This person is responsible for supplier management, purchasing, negotiating pricing, contract terms and conditions. Duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Be a focal point for assigned vendors for purchasing, logistics and warehouse operations, including but not limited to European support;
- Assist in developing regional strategy to support internal clients;
- Support the Sourcing & Logistics management in international Projects;
- Be an integral member of the European Sourcing organization;
- Support department goals of cost, inventory and supplier reduction;
- Drive Supplier delivery performance of 98% on time delivery or better;
- Create all assigned purchase orders;
- Track return orders from shipment to the supplier until return credit received;
- Monitor progress of critical orders;
- Achieve cost savings/productivity and review open issues weekly;
- Collect and report the monthly European savings (monthly savings report);
- Be the purchasing point of contact for all issues with assigned suppliers;
- Submit required information for new SKU set up by country;
- Report on a weekly basis to the Sourcing Director.
Essential Job Qualifications:
- Graduate degree (Master’s, Doctorate, etc.) or equivalent experience;
- 2+ years progressive responsibility with experience within a purchasing, sourcing or procurement team;
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification preferred;
- English and Dutch to a high level written and spoken required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in obtaining, analysing and reviewing procurement, inventory & Logistic related data with organizations and company’s management teams;
- Experience in key supplier management including periodic review of supplier performance, pricing and product development roadmaps;
- Strong written and verbal communications skills are required;
- Ability to take initiative and solution oriented;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Basic knowledge of video, sound, and scent equipment helpful;
- Team player, yet independent worker and thinker;
- Must be able to prioritize own work;
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other Mood organizations;
- Ability to coordinate, communicate and manage assigned suppliers;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Understanding of Google Suite;
- Have a working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
