Mood Media Corporation is a leading in‑store media specialist that blends music, visual, and scent media to help retail clients engage consumers and drive incremental sales at the point of purchase. With operations through its In‑Store Media and Retail Point‑of‑Purchase divisions, Mood Media serves more than 800 retail chains across 40+ countries worldwide.
The Solutions Architect provides audio‑video sales consultation, concept development, and technical design & engineering support to account management and acquisition sales teams, including the creation of internal and client‑facing proposals, detailed solution designs, cost estimates, hardware recommendations, device placement drawings, and scope‑of‑work narratives.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Adopt a client‑centric, proactive, strategic, and global approach to all activities and decision‑making.
- Provide audio & video technical and solution consultation, expertise, and support to account management and acquisitions teams.
- Assist in needs‑analysis discoveries (design intent focused on experience, coverage, functionality, and performance) to identify client “pain” points and present effective solutions.
- Prepare proposals and solution design packages and participate or lead in final sales presentations.
- Contribute to thought leadership and proactive preparation and presentation of solution packages to achieve revenue growth.
- Assist in preparing pricing, including labor analysis, equipment pricing, general conditions, direct job expenses, and all cost elements required for formal audio and/or video proposals.
- Interface with owners, architects/engineers, and other contractors or subcontractors to clarify scope, provide design assistance, and coordinate trades.
- Attend kick‑off meetings with the Operations project team after contract award and supply detailed technical and financial information to ensure successful project delivery.
- Establish, develop, and nurture relationships with clients, vendors, representatives, and manufacturers at the highest levels, enhancing Mood Media’s global leadership advantage.
- Collaborate with all members of the Mood Media family to address and resolve issues jointly.
- Organize and prioritize projects and daily tasks effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
