Mood London is a fast-growing premium fragrance house with a clear ambition: to become the UK’s number one choice of fragrance for both men and women. We are building a modern retail brand that blends premium product, confident selling, and strong commercial discipline. Today, our focus is on driving sales performance and building strong retail foundations. Over time, we will evolve into a more customer-centric, brand-led business with a broader portfolio and footprint.
As a Retail Sales Leader, you will take ownership of a high-visibility physical retail environment, leading a team on site, driving sales results, and representing the Mood London brand every day. This is a hands-on leadership role: present on the floor, selling, coaching, and setting the standard.
Hitting the Ground Running
This role requires momentum from the outset. From day one, you will be expected to:
- Learn quickly and immerse yourself in our products, sales approach, and customer journey.
- Sell confidently on the floor alongside your team, demonstrating approach behaviour, pace, and energy throughout the trading day.
- Be hands on, leading the way on sales performance.
- Build credibility and authority through presence, pace, and performance.
- Begin coaching and improving team performance in real time.
You will be supported with structure and training, but this role suits someone comfortable learning fast, taking ownership early, and leading from the front.
Who This Role Is For
This role suits someone who:
- Has experience leading a physical retail location with a team.

- Is resilient, adaptable, and positive during change.

- Is ambitious and wants to grow with a scaling business.
This role is not suited to managers who prefer office-based work, low-confrontation environments, or passive retail leadership.

- Complete internal performance reviews accurately and on time.
- Retain and grow high-performing people. Quarterly team turnover is maintained below 10%.
Footfall Engagement & Opportunity Creation
- Lead proactive engagement with passing footfall.
- Ensure the team actively participates during quieter trading periods.
- Drive participatory browsing rather than passive waiting, ensuring the kiosk environment remains active, engaging, and sales-focused throughout trading hours, and that passing footfall is disrupted.
- Identify local opportunities to increase visibility and engagement.
Brand Representation & Culture Leadership
- Act as a visible brand ambassador at all times.
- Set the standard in personal presentation and professionalism.
- Live and reinforce company values and culture.
- Set and enforce expectations around effort, professionalism, and selling behaviour, addressing issues immediately rather than allowing them to continue.
- Support the wider business as required, including flexibility across locations.
- Complete other reasonable requests aligned to company strategy.
Product Knowledge & Credibility
- Build strong product and fragrance knowledge.
- Be able to speak about fragrance at a technical level.
- Coach the team to sell with authority and confidence.

- Operational and visual standards remain high.
- The team remains energetic and proactive during quieter periods.
- Customers receive a confident, premium experience.
