You will be joining a close-knit, global People Team that is passionate about high-quality employee experiences and driving a high-performance culture. Based in our Camden, UK office, you will report to the Head of People while collaborating deeply with our US, UK, and South African based partners to ensure a unified global strategy.

The Role

Play a key role in shaping the day-to-day employee experience at MOO. From onboarding new MOOsters to supporting People projects and keeping our systems running smoothly, you’ll be at the heart of how we support our teams. You won’t just maintain processes – you’ll actively look for ways to improve them.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding and Inductions – work closely with the People Operations Generalist on the onboarding experience for all new starters in the UK. Prepare, issue and file all relevant paperwork and run in-person inductions to ensure new MOOsters feel connected and set up for success.
  • Contractual changes – prepare documentation as necessary, update databases and trackers, ensuring information on all staff is accurate, complete and processed in line with all applicable data protection legislation.
  • Performance management – administer the probationary review and performance management programs, including notifying managers of upcoming reviews, tracking completion and setting up review cycles.
  • Offboarding – manage the leaver process, ensuring all offboarding administration is completed efficiently and compliantly and conduct exit interviews.
  • Employee engagement – support the delivery of employee surveys through Culture Amp, including engagement, onboarding, 90-day and exit interviews.
  • HR Systems – become a super-user of all our People systems, support MOOsters with questions and queries and run data imports and reports as needed.
  • Payroll – partner with the People ops team and finance to ensure all employee changes are processed accurately and on time.
  • Pension – ensure compliance with UK pension auto-enrolment requirements.
  • Compliance – ensure Right to Work checks and employee documentation meet UK legislative requirements.
  • Projects – contribute to key People Team projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience handling People Operations or HR administration responsibilities independently.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
  • A proactive mindset with a natural curiosity for improving processes and solving problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • Hands-on experience using HR systems and recruitment platforms.
  • An understanding of UK employment practices and compliance requirements.
  • A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new skills and developing professionally.
