Our Internal Communications Team
Operations sits at the heart of Monzo, with a small but perfectly-formed Internal Comms Team. We’re growing and changing fast, so we can create Monzo magic for even more customers. So it’s important that we help our customer-facing teams understand the changes that impact them, feel engaged and informed and see how their role contributes to Monzo’s overall success
You’ll play a key role by…

Working with key stakeholders to understand changes and updates they need to land and advising and delivering on the best comms plan.

Representing and co-ordinating internal communications input to working groups and broader projects to make sure comms land at the right time and stakeholders understand the part they play.

Dealing with day to day comms requests. Working with owners to deliver messages in an engaging, timely way, using the right channels for their audience.

Working with the People Team to land key changes and engagement and making sure our operational teams are represented consistently at a Monzo-wide level.

Creating comms plans with punchy, well-written comms, using our tone of voice, and messaging that ties back to our goals.

Keeping our Internal Comms tracker up to date so we have a roadmap of what we know is happening and when. You’ll work with stakeholders so they’re aware of the pipeline and flagging their requests consistently and with enough notice.

Work with the wider engagement team to brainstorm and build ideas – from fun virtual campaigns, to recognition and events within Operations, or across Monzo as needed.

Work with the rest of the team to co-ordinate messages and plans across domains in Operations to make sure we’re consistent and aligned, change lands well and communications are clear.

Help produce workshops on best practice communications, including general advice, bitesize packs and presentations for team meetings, away days and one-off sessions with key people.

Create on brand and fun visuals and produce smart google slides to engage teams and share best practice with managers and leads., This role can be based in our London office, but we’re open to distributed working within the UK (with ad hoc meetings in London)

You have internal comms experience (essential): you’ll have been working in a similar role for at least two or three years and understand best practice.
