You will play a pivotal role in driving Monzo's next phase of growth. With 1 in 6 new UK businesses applying for a Monzo Business account, we’re now setting our sights on the switcher market. Your mission: identify and scale strategic partnerships that unlock growth in this segment and build sustainable acquisition channels. Leading the end-to-end strategy and execution of partnerships to accelerate growth and deliver value.

You’ll optimise existing relationships and scale new opportunities by:

  • Expanding and Optimising Partnerships: Lead and scale active pilots (e.g., accountant affiliates, distribution partners), continuously analysing performance, identifying improvements, and driving implementation and governance.
  • Sourcing and Building Strategic Opportunities: Identify, pitch, and cultivate relationships with scalable, high-impact partners aligned with strategic objectives, informed by market trends and competitive insights.
  • Driving Commercial and Strategic Decisions: Develop data-informed business cases and recommendations to prioritise partnership opportunities with strong commercial potential.
  • Accelerating Customer Acquisition: Design and implement targeted, high-conversion strategies focused on acquiring high-value switchers, optimising for long-term impact.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Partner closely with teams across Product Growth, Risk, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Engineering, and Compliance to ensure cohesive integration, improve acquisition performance, and gather insights to inform strategy.

  • Bring Proven Experience: Have a strong track record in growth or partnerships, ideally within banking, fintech, or tech, with experience building and optimising B2B strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Are Data-Informed and Commercially Focused: Confidently use data to evaluate opportunities, guide strategy, solve problems, and inform impactful decisions.
  • Think Strategically and Creatively: Apply first-principles thinking to challenge assumptions and develop innovative, practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Adapt Across Functions: Comfortable navigating technical, regulatory, and operational contexts to deliver customer-centric solutions that work at scale.
  • Collaborate and Take Initiative: A thoughtful communicator and proactive self-starter who contributes with humility, works well with others, and is genuinely motivated by our mission.
