At Monzo the Wealth collective focuses on building out our investments, pensions, savings and insurance offering for customers . We do this by executing swiftly and boldly on a well-communicated strategy informed by mixing data, customer research & feedback & strong conviction. We blend continuous iteration with bolder innovation to help bring the Monzo magic to more people. This role is to be a product manager for our 0-1 new Insurance vertical squad whose goal is to build out our newest insurance vertical and launch to market. You will co-own our targets for launch and growth & drive this through experimentation, collaboration with our marketing teams, and building the foundational capabilities that make all of this possible. You\'ll play a key role in... As a Product Manager for Wealth, you’ll lead a cross-functional team to define and deliver a new insurance vertical that delights customers and creates long-term growth for Monzo. You’ll help build the platform, capabilities and product needed to create a delightful experience for both new and existing customers. New vertical strategy and build: Working in partnership with our Head of Insurance and special projects teams, take ownership of the strategic planning and launch of a new insurance vertical. Product Strategy: Define and drive the comprehensive product roadmap that reflects short-term and long-term business objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams. Product Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation in new product features, functionalities, and user experiences that enhance organic traffic acquisition. That means you will.. Lead the charge: build a product vision and strategy for your area, ensuring alignment with Monzo’s goals and an exceptional customer experience. Communicate effectively: you get people inspired by the product vision and you share the right context with the right people at the right time. Collaborate seamlessly: partner with engineering, design, data, research, marketing and other teams across Monzo to create a strategy and deliver. Deliver impact: define, deliver and measure the impact of the customer-focused experiences you create. Create delightful experiences that solve user needs and pain points. You have experience and appetite for launching 0-1 B2C products. You thrive in ambiguity You’re comfortable working in a deeply collaborative, highly technical team. You’re comfortable spanning the worlds of engineering, design, data, user research and marketing/growth. You’re data driven, passionate about metrics, and intellectually honest about how your work is performing -- and driven to continuously improve it. You have previously worked for an app first or app centric organisation in the past. You’re passionate about learning every day and sharing your knowledge and experience. You can systematically break down and solve complex problems. You have good judgement, and have a track record of making good decisions in complex situations where there’s often no “right answer”. You have the urge and resilience to challenge the status quo and make things better, and are full of creative ideas for how to do so. You’re a great storyteller, who is able to motivate, energise and inspire people towards a common goal. You’re passionate about building value for customers and not just achieving business results, and are excited about our mission at Monzo. If you have prior experience in an Insurtech or Fintech, this is an added benefit, but isn’t necessary The Interview Process Our interview process usually involves 4 main stages: Recruiter Call Initial Call with Hiring Manager Final Loop, consisting of x3 hour long interviews to assess Project Walkthrough, Case Study and Leadership. Our average process takes around 5-6 weeks but we will always work around your availability.
