We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone. We’re moving away from traditional banking and have grown from a prepaid card to offering personal and business bank accounts, joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK. Our customers can save, invest and combine their pensions with us. We’re known for hot coral cards, get-paid-early, financial education on social media and award-winning customer service.
Our People team is called Monzo Magic. This runs through everything we do. Within the People Collective, we bring mission-led people together to do work and banking differently, centering on our customers and combining technology with banking to empower a diverse, high-performing, innovative and agile workforce. We are growing our People Partner team and are hiring an experienced People Partner who is excited by our mission and goals. You will work with leaders to design and deliver their people strategy and provide an excellent people experience, coaching Monzonauts to drive great outcomes.
You’ll play a key role by:
- Working as a strategic partner to our Chief Design Officer and our VP Marketing & Growth, creating and delivering a people plan that enables the Marketing, Growth, Design and User Research strategy at Monzo.
- Collaborating with VPs and Directors within Marketing, Growth, Design & User Research to drive high performance, engagement and healthy org design.
- Owning the people life-cycle within your business area, proactively iterating and improving your approach.
- Collaborating with our Diversity Lead to drive measurable change in company-level D&I goals within Tech & Business teams.
- Identifying and surfacing trends in data to improve organisational health and drive change with stakeholders.
- Being responsible for People Opex budget within your teams.
- Empowering and coaching managers to level up as leaders.
- Helping teams develop strong diversity and inclusion practices.
- Working with leads in People (Learning & Development, Reward, Talent, etc.) to define team-specific requirements.
- Monitoring external trends to inform best practices internally.

Our average process takes around 3–4 weeks, but we will always work around your availability.
