Overview
In this role you will own Monzo’s transfer pricing operations, policies, and documentation within the Group Tax team. You’ll design and implement TP policies to support growth and international expansion, work with Legal, Finance, and Treasury on intercompany agreements, and defend TP positions during audits. Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, maintenance, and updates of Master Files, Local Files, and CbCR across jurisdictions
- Design, implement, and update intercompany pricing policies to support growth and launches
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Treasury to ensure intercompany agreements align with economic realities
- Partner on cross-functional projects including European expansion and cross-border structuring
- Serve as a key contact during tax authority inquiries and audits related to transfer pricing
- Provide clear, pragmatic TP advice to internal stakeholders across Business, Finance, and Product teams
Key requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA/ADIT or equivalent)
- Strong technical background in transfer pricing
- Willingness to move from practice or bring in-house TP experience
- Proactive, hands-on mindset with ability to operate autonomously
- Ability to translate complex TP concepts for non-tax stakeholders
