We’re looking for a Group Risk Reporting & Framework Analyst to join Monzo! This is a brilliant chance to get involved in key areas such as risk reporting, risk culture, and our risk frameworks. You’ll report to the Head of Group Risk Reporting and Risk Culture and will manage day‑to‑day administration and data for our risk reports, ensuring the right data (risk appetite metrics, issues, actions, controls) is captured, fixing connection issues, and working with colleagues across Monzo to deliver timely risk governance reports. In addition, you will support our risk frameworks and processes – setting up systems, guidelines, and ways of working that help Monzo manage risk effectively.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Produce monthly risk reports, ensuring they meet Group requirements.
  • Be the primary point of contact for data‑related or technical risk‑reporting queries across Monzo.
  • Handle core risk‑reporting admin, such as user access, workflow maintenance, and configuration.
  • Own data quality in risk reports, making sure risk data and formulas are accurate, consistent, and meaningful – and manage issue resolution and enhancement requests.
  • Look for opportunities to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve the usability of our risk reporting.
  • Develop and maintain risk Looker dashboards (we use this to visualise data from our GRC tool).
  • Create and maintain user‑facing documentation, training, and process guidance.

Frameworks

  • Support the operation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), including preparing materials for Group Executive and Board risk reporting and handling data requests from our subsidiaries.
  • Help drive the Group Risk Culture agenda.
  • Tackle other ad‑hoc tasks to support the Group Risk team on frameworks, systems, and projects.

We’d love to hear from you if you…

  • Are experienced in risk reporting and risk data management.
  • Are detail‑oriented and great with G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for building simple, effective solutions.
  • Can communicate clearly in writing and speak at all levels, influencing stakeholders while staying true to Monzo’s tone of voice.
  • Are a strategic thinker who balances immediate tasks with long‑term goals.
  • Are a role model for our values and behaviours.
  • Have knowledge of App Script and/or SQL (desirable but not essential).

Not ticking every box? That’s totally okay! Studies show that women and people of colour might hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement. At Monzo, we’re dedicated to creating a diverse and welcoming team. • 📚 ÂŁ1,000 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses, and conferences.
  • 🏡 We will set you up to work from home; all employees are given Macbooks and for fully remote workers we will provide extra support for your work‑from‑home setup.
