Overview
This is a new management role reporting to Monzo’s Group Company Secretary, working with the Group governance and company secretarial team and senior leadership.
Location: London/UK Remote | Salary: £84,000 - £105,000 + Equity + Benefits.

Responsibilities
- Manage the board and committee calendars and schedule meetings across the Group.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulation and internal policies.
- Provide guidance on governance matters to boards and management teams.
- Oversee administrative and logistical arrangements for the Group Board and Committees.
- Manage onboarding for new directors, including inductions; develop induction programmes for non-executive directors at the Group and subsidiary entities.
- Serve as a point of contact for board members and stakeholders.
- Lead preparation of and manage visits and events for the Group Board and Committees (dinners, training, meetings with non-executive directors).
- Assist the Group Company Secretary with shareholder engagements (including AGM when applicable).
- Support Board Governance teams in organising meetings; develop and maintain governance policies and procedures.
- Supervise and manage the Board Support team; provide training and development for team members.
- Work pro-actively with the Group Company Secretary and other senior leaders to build a best-in-class, scalable company secretarial function.
- Promote good governance practices across Monzo and its subsidiaries; improve workflows and adopt suitable technology solutions.
