Purpose of role: To design and deliver an outstanding Hiring Coordination service in the Executive & Board Hiring squad. You’ll partner with Exec Recruiters, Executive Assistants and search firms to ensure a seamless exec hiring process. You’ll schedule interviews for our most senior candidates and roles. You’ll also manage successful candidates’ pre‑onboarding journey (systems onboarding, travel & accommodation, equipment delivery, background checks), and work with the teams they’re joining to make sure their onboarding plans run like clockwork and they’re set up for success from day 1 and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Working with search firms and Executive Assistants to unblock diaries and schedule interviews, meetings and calls.
- Adapting our usual coordination workflows to suit the needs of our most senior candidates.
- Creating and communicating key coordination metrics for the Exec squad, including time to schedule and interview lead time.
- Maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring our candidates and partners do the same, including managing the signing of NDAs.
- Sending out contracts and paperwork once a candidate has accepted an offer to join us.
- Creating search update reports and presentations as needed.
- Booking travel and arranging itineraries for candidates, some involving complex international trips.
- Managing the pre‑onboarding process for all exec candidates, including systems onboarding, equipment ordering and arranging travel & accommodation.
- Working closely with the Reward team to manage the background check process for our regulated hires (as well as checks for those in non‑regulated roles).
- Partnering with relevant teams to support new hires’ onboarding, making sure they’re set up for success from day 1 and beyond.
- Meeting candidates in the office, always giving a great experience from the get‑go.
- Contributing to and leading on Exec Hiring Projects and supporting the Exec squad and wider Hiring team with ad‑hoc tasks as appropriate, including supporting writing board papers.
- Coordinating the post‑offer hiring process of other confidential roles at Monzo, including those within the People Collective and confidential short‑term staff.
- Supporting with other areas of business & tech coordination on an ad‑hoc basis, where needed.

- Have experience in Recruitment Coordination, working with senior stakeholders at all levels, including Exec & Board members.
- Have experience juggling multiple candidates, roles and stakeholders at once all whilst maintaining a great experience for all.
- Are adaptable to change and changing priorities and driven by working in a fast paced environment.
- Love problem solving and an ability to project manage to keep things running on time.
- Have the ability to assess true priorities within a role where everything is important and often urgent.
- Are highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Have proven experience managing highly confidential processes with a high degree of integrity.
- Have strong communication skills at all levels.
- Are willing and able to support meeting candidates in the London office for interviews and onboarding as required.
What’s In It For You: £43,400 - £51,000 plus Stock Options & Benefits. We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team. £1,000 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses and conferences.
