Remote role, full‑time, salary £24,750‑£29,625 plus stock options and benefits.
Join Monzo’s Collections team, the financial health heroes at the core of Monzo. We identify and support customers who may be struggling with debt, offering compassion and options to help.
Your Day to Day
Build a deep understanding of Monzo’s award‑winning lending products, credit file details and decisioning process. Support customers via in‑app chat, outbound and inbound calls and emails, asking open questions to understand their situation, listening and providing solutions.
We’ll be looking for you if you have…
- Availability to start 5th January 2026 and attend 7‑week training, Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5:30 pm.
- Prior experience in Collections, Debt Recovery or Customer Service in a contact centre.
- Background supporting customers with vulnerability.
- Excellent communication skills and a high standard of work.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for complexity.
- Regulatory awareness – keeping up to date with FCA obligations and ensuring customer outcomes are fulfilled.
- A genuine passion for people and customers – you live and breathe people and customers like we do.
The Interview Process
- Answer application questions and four scenarios.
- Recruiter call – 30 min.
- Competency‑based values and role‑specific interview – 60 min approx.

Your Working Life and Shift Requirements
- Monday‑Friday 8 am‑8 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9 am‑6 pm (37.5 h week, remote).
- Weekly shift pattern varies; notice in advance.

- Guaranteed birthday off, taken from holiday balance.
