As an Android Engineer at Monzo, you will contribute to a 100% Kotlin Android app used by millions, in a small, autonomous product squad. You’ll ship polished experiences while balancing robust, well-tested code with rapid iteration. You’ll work alongside engineers, designers and researchers to shape how customers interact with their finances. Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the native Android app in Kotlin using MVVM, Compose and modular architecture
- Collaborate in cross-functional squads to deliver outcomes that affect customer finances and experience
- Participate in code reviews, testing (unit, snapshot, Espresso) and CI workflows to ensure quality
- Contribute to platform and tooling improvements to help teams move faster
- Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions and continuous learning with the broader engineering community
- Support product goals beyond a single feature by contributing to end-to-end outcomes and product impact
