Looking to make your move into a client-side role? Or take your next step in a position where finance genuinely shapes decisions? We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join MONY Group and help run a smart, high‑impact Transactional Finance function that supports the whole business. This role is a brilliant first move from practice (especially Audit Managers ready for something broader). We’ve got a strong track record of developing people who come in at this level and go on to progress across the Group.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and improve budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Make processes slicker and controls stronger
- Get stuck into statutory and technical reporting, including new initiatives
- Partner with teams across the business to improve performance
- Spot and drive cost‑saving or revenue opportunities
- Turn finance data into clear, useful insight
- Coach and develop a team of talented finance professionals
- Work closely with the Group Financial Controller (alongside another Finance Manager) to run a high‑performing team
What we’re looking for
- ACA or ACCA (particularly relevant due to the technical reporting focus)
- Strong grounding in financial and tax reporting (IFRS, UK GAAP, Corp Tax, VAT, PAYE)
- Experience of group year‑end reporting and audit delivery
- Confidence analysing complex accounting topics and explaining them clearly
- A collaborative style — someone who builds trust and challenges constructively
- Curiosity about how the business actually makes money
- A proactive mindset and a habit of making things better
- The desire (and ability) to lead, coach and develop others
Why MONY Group?
- 27 days holiday, rising to 30 with service (plus bank and public holidays on top)
- A bonus
- Enhanced parental leave
- A supportive, people‑first culture with the tools to do your best work
- Real development opportunities across a FTSE‑listed Group
Our interview process
- A chat with our Talent Acquisition team
- Stage 1: 1‑hour remote interview
- Stage 2: 1‑hour face‑to‑face interview in Ewloe
