  • Scoping, developing and implementing content-led and product-led SEO initiatives, from insight through to delivery.
  • Using first- and third-party data to identify, prioritise and size commercial organic opportunities.
  • Partnering with the Content team to inform what content should be updated, created or iterated, and why - managing the full content lifecycle from ideation to optimisation.
  • Working closely with PR teams and external digital PR agencies to:
    • Assess our organic and off‑site position versus competitors
    • Identify link and citation gaps
    • Shape campaigns that support backlink growth, brand mentions and AI search visibility
  • Leading and contributing to AI search experimentation, including testing on-page and off-page factors that influence visibility in AI-driven search experiences.
  • Collaborating with Data teams to request and define datasets that enhance content performance, support PR narratives, and improve reporting.
  • Working with Product and Engineering to influence and help deliver on-page features and enhancements that improve organic performance.
  • Partnering with Commercial teams to share organic performance, explain drivers of change, and align on wider macro or market factors impacting results.
  • Supporting relationships with external commercial partners where organic performance is a shared lever.
  • Owning regular performance reporting and trade updates, ensuring stakeholders understand impact, progress and opportunity.
  • Championing SEO best practice through knowledge sharing, training and evangelism across the business.
  • Staying up to date with SEO, digital PR and search trends, adopting new technologies and approaches where they provide a competitive edge.
