About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join one of our multidisciplinary product squads. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers and engineers, owning delivery across the SDLC; shaping solutions, building accessible, high‑performing user experiences, and releasing value quickly.
We’re an AI‑enabled engineering organisation, using tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. If you’re excited about using AI responsibly to build better products, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll do
- Lead on the delivery of features and help shape technical direction within your team.
- Collaborate with product and design to create intuitive, responsive UIs and ship improvements end‑to‑end.
- Build and maintain modern single‑page applications with a strong focus on accessibility, performance, and quality.
- Champion great engineering practices: TDD, pairing/mobbing, automation, and continuous delivery.
- Debug, optimise, and reduce technical debt, keeping things maintainable with sensible documentation.
- Mentor and coach others, helping teammates grow and raising the bar on frontend craft.
What we’re looking for
We believe success isn’t solely defined by ticking boxes on a skills checklist, if you’re excited by the role and our mission, we’d love to hear from you.
- You’ll likely have significant experience with modern frontend frameworks (we use Vue.js; React experience is also valuable).
- Experience with automated testing (unit/integration/E2E/performance) and confidence practising TDD.
- Great code design habits and the ability to guide others with thoughtful feedback and coaching.
- A collaborative mindset: you enjoy pairing, mobbing, and shipping value quickly in an agile environment.
Nice to have:
- Playwright experience (or similar E2E tooling).
- AWS Amplify and Cognito exposure (or experience building/hosting web apps on AWS).
Why switch to us
- Dedicated time for learning and people regularly attend conferences and events.
- Hybrid working: we’re a hybrid organisation, spending 2 days per week in the office to get the best of collaboration, and the rest where you work best.
- Loads of team activities — hack days, socials and community get-togethers, plus annual Product & Tech meetups.
- Clear progression framework and opportunities to move across teams.
- Beautiful offices with games areas, free food & drinks and more.
- 27 days holiday (rising to 30) + bank holidays.
- Pension up to 6% employer contribution.
- Enhanced shared parental leave — 6 months paid for both parents.
- Work‑from‑anywhere scheme — 2 weeks per year.
- Financial coaching + mental health platform access.
