ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Operational Resilience & Incident Management Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank\βs ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptions. You will be responsible for continuous testing of our resilience frameworks, real-time incident management, and maintaining governance to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
HOW YOU\βLL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Operational Resilience & Testing
- Conduct regular resilience testing, including scenario-based exercises and simulations.
- Assess critical business services and their dependencies, ensuring robust impact tolerances.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to embed resilience into our processes.
- Incident Management
- Lead and coordinate real-time response efforts for operational incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Drive post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Business Continuity & Governance
- Keep business continuity plans up to date, ensuring they reflect the evolving nature of our operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including operational resilience frameworks.
- Maintain and enhance governance documentation, policies, and reporting structures.
WE TEND TO LOOK FOR PEOPLE WITH
- Proven experience in Operational Resilience, Incident Management, and Business Continuity within a financial services environment (scale-up or fintech experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., PRA, FCA, DORA, NIST, ISO
- Experience in incident response, crisis management, and resilience testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with modern banking technologies, cloud infrastructure, and digital services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical teams.
