About Monument Technology Limited
Monument Technology provides everything needed to build and run a bank with an open, configurable, end-to-end, banking platform as a service which uses best-in-class components to empower small and medium-sized banks around the world to thrive in the digital age. Our platform is a full-stack 'bank or building-society-in-a-box', delivering all the functionality needed to run and grow a modern, digital-led financial institution, including native mobile app and web experience, servicing, core and all the back-end technologies, integrated in a single, cloud-native solution.
THE ROLE
As demand grows from banks and financial institutions seeking to modernise their technology estates, we are scaling our engineering capability to deliver multiple concurrent programmes without compromising quality or pace. As Technical Project Manager, you will partner closely with the Front-End Engineering team, and take ownership of day-to-day delivery, operational discipline and cross-team coordination across three engineering squads covering iOS, Android and Web. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role requiring strong Agile expertise, project management experience, technical fluency and the confidence to challenge where needed.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Lead and support Agile processes across three scrum teams, ensuring ceremonies are effective, outcomes are clear and commitments are met.
- Coordinate delivery across iOS, Android and Web, identifying and managing cross-team dependencies to prevent blockers and duplication.
- Ensure API specifications and UI designs are complete, versioned and signed off before development begins.
- Support the definition and consistent application of Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) across teams.
- Provide clear, meaningful reporting to the delivery practice, focusing on metrics that drive the right behaviours and outcomes.
- Maintain consistent velocity across delivery milestones while protecting quality and appropriate levels of testing.
- Remove impediments proactively, ensuring developers and QA teams can focus on efficient, high-quality execution.
- Align work across technical verticals so that once all contributing teams deliver, features can be released without rework or delay.
- Strengthen ways of working to create a scalable, repeatable delivery model capable of supporting multiple concurrent programmes.
WE LOOK FOR PEOPLE WITH
- Strong experience managing multiple scrum teams within a technical environment.
- Strong experience managing and supporting delivery planning and tracking activities.
- Prior experience as a project manager is essential.
- A technical background across front end, integration layers, APIs and backend implementations, enabling you to understand dependencies and delivery risks.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external dependencies, including offshore contributors where relevant.
- Practical experience of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
- A clear understanding of the Product–Design–Engineering relationship and how to align them effectively.
- Experience driving improvements to delivery processes that result in measurable efficiency or quality gains.
- Confidence working in fast-paced, scaling environments; experience in start-ups or financial services is advantageous.
- You are structured but pragmatic. You know when to challenge and when to unblock.
- You focus on outcomes rather than ceremony, and you understand that strong delivery discipline enables engineering excellence rather than constraining it.
