SUMMARY OF ROLE

Reporting to the Maintenance Contracts Manager you will be responsible for addressing urgent repairs, maintenance tasks, and small works projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responding to urgent maintenance repairs, addressing reported issues promptly
  • Performing small works
  • Following maintenance schedules ensuring regular maintenance tasks are completed according to a schedule.
  • Working safely, adhering to health and safety regulations using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and completing relevant training as required
  • Communicating effectively, clearly communicating with clients and colleagues about tasks, progress, and potential issues.

DESIRABLE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience working in a Maintenance role would be an advantage
  • Joinery NVQ Level 3
  • Fire Door Maintenance Desirable
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Full & Clean UK Drivers License
  • Physical Strength and stamina, the ability to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail by ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Communication Skills, ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Safety consciousness, understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and with others.
  • Honesty, integrity and reliability.
