SUMMARY OF ROLE
Reporting to the Maintenance Contracts Manager you will be responsible for addressing urgent repairs, maintenance tasks, and small works projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responding to urgent maintenance repairs, addressing reported issues promptly
- Performing small works
- Following maintenance schedules ensuring regular maintenance tasks are completed according to a schedule.
- Working safely, adhering to health and safety regulations using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and completing relevant training as required
- Communicating effectively, clearly communicating with clients and colleagues about tasks, progress, and potential issues.
DESIRABLE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
- Experience working in a Maintenance role would be an advantage
- Joinery NVQ Level 3
- Fire Door Maintenance Desirable
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Full & Clean UK Drivers License
- Physical Strength and stamina, the ability to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to detail by ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Communication Skills, ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Safety consciousness, understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and with others.
- Honesty, integrity and reliability.
