This is a hands‐on social role at the heart of what we do. You'll be responsible for shaping the social output of a varied client portfolio - bringing ideas to the table, reacting fast when culture moves, and making sure every brand we work with shows up with intention.
You're not someone who waits for a brief to tell you what's trending. You already know. And more importantly, you know which brands should lean in and which ones should sit it out.
You'll have come from a large agency environment and be used to working across multiple clients simultaneously - but you're ready to bring that experience somewhere you can have real creative influence.
What you'll own:
- Day‐to‐day social strategy and content direction across a portfolio of clients
- Developing original social ideas – reactive and planned – that are right for the brand and right for the moment
- Building and maintaining content calendars that balance campaign priorities with cultural opportunity
- Working closely with our creative and production teams to brief and deliver content
- Community management and platform oversight across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and beyond
- Reporting and performance analysis – knowing what worked, why, and what to do differently
Who are Monty?
We're an award‐winning social and creative agency making impact and real results happen with the world's biggest brands and boldest changemakers. Our work spans hospitality, entertainment, music, culture, live, charities and NGOs – and everything in between. Everyone here works closely with the brands we represent.
Salary: £21,000–£25,000 pro rata (£35,000–£45,000 FTE)
This role is open to full‐time or part‐time candidates. If you're looking for 2–3 days a week, we'll be happy to discuss contract or flexible working arrangements. If the fit is right, we'll make it work.
What we're looking for:
- 3–5 years in social media, with solid agency experience – ideally at a larger agency where you've had to move fast and manage multiple accounts
- Someone with a genuine point of view on what good social looks like, and the confidence to push for it
- Sharp reactive instincts – you spot the moment, you know the format, you move
- A strong understanding of platform nuances across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and emerging channels
- Confident with CapCut – you can shoot, edit and turn content around at pace without waiting on a production team
- Strong copywriting skills – you can write in a brand's voice, not just describe what the video shows
- Previous experience working across big, recognisable brands and managing multiple accounts simultaneously without dropping the standard
- Comfortable presenting ideas to clients and defending your thinking
- Organised enough to hold multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
Nice to have:
- Experience with Adobe Suite and/or Canva
- DSLR or above filming experience – you know the difference between a good shot and a great one
- Familiarity with After Effects or Premier Pro for more polished edits
Life at Monty:
- Flexible working – we trust you to manage your time
- Fridays are work from home
- Technology budget – the tools you need, sorted
- Local discounts – perks of the neighbourhood
- Regular lunch clubs and after work socials
- Invites to events plus up‐skilling and personal development built in
- Wellbeing support and an open culture around it
- Dog‐friendly office
