We're looking for someone who sees a location, a product or a brief - and immediately knows the shot. This is a creative‑first role. You're not account managing, you're not in client calls - you're ideating, shooting and bringing content to life. You'll work closely with our social and strategy teams to take briefs from concept to camera to final asset, across a mix of brands and campaigns that keeps things genuinely interesting.

You're someone who can walk into a space and see ten ideas. Who obsesses over the details - the lighting, the angle, the sound, the caption. Who doesn't need to be told what's trending because you're already living it. The best content creators we know don't wait to be directed. They bring the idea and then execute it better than anyone imagined.

What you’ll own:

  • Developing original content concepts from brief – ideating formats, treatments and shoot approaches
  • Planning and executing shoots end to end: location, talent, props, kit, the works
  • Shooting and self‑directing across a range of formats – short‑form video, stills, lo‑fi and produced
  • Editing and delivering platform‑ready assets, primarily in CapCut
  • Staying ahead of content trends and bringing fresh ideas to the team proactively
  • Collaborating closely with our Social Media Managers and Editors to make sure content lands in the right shape for each platform

Who are Monty?

We're an award‑winning social and creative agency making impact and real results happen with the world's biggest brands and boldest changemakers. Our work spans hospitality, entertainment, music, culture, live, charities and NGOs – and everything in between. Everyone here works closely with the brands we represent.

Day rate: £200–£350 (freelance/contract) / Salary: £21,000–£25,000 pro rata (£35,000–£45,000 FTE)

This role is open to 2–3 days a week on an ongoing basis – contract and flexible working arrangements welcome.

What we're looking for:

  • 3–5 years creating content, ideally across agency, brand or studio environments
  • A strong portfolio – we want to see range, ideas and execution, not just pretty shots
  • Confident behind the camera across iPhone and DSLR or above
  • Proficient in CapCut and Premiere Pro for editing and delivery
  • A genuine ideator – someone who comes to the table with concepts, not just technical skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple briefs and brands simultaneously at pace
  • Self‑sufficient and proactive – you don't wait to be told, you bring the energy

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Photoshop or After Effects
  • Basic lighting and audio kit knowledge
  • Styling or art direction instincts – an eye beyond just the lens

Sound like you? Drop us a line with your CV and an example of a social moment you think a brand nailed – and why.
