Join Montu as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician and take an active role in supporting our pharmacy operations at our modern, patient-focused site in Winnersh. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accuracy checks on dispensed medicines, ensuring full compliance with legal, operational and safety standards
- Support the end-to-end dispensing process, verifying that all medicines are prepared correctly for patient delivery
- Maintain clear and accurate prescription records, reporting any discrepancies promptly
- Help train and mentor junior colleagues, encouraging a culture of safety, accuracy and quality
- Keep up to date with professional development, industry standards and best practice guidance
- Work closely with the wider pharmacy team to resolve queries and ensure every patient receives an exceptional service
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent ACT qualification
- Be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Have significant experience in a pharmacy setting, with a proven record in accuracy checking
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies and standard operating procedures
- Show excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach to service delivery
