What is the job?
We are recruiting a Junior Clinical Fellow to join our London team. This is a hands-on, patient-focused role where you will play a critical part in prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex clinical needs. Your work will centre on delivering safe, effective and highly personalised treatment, supporting patients across a wide range of conditions.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team, contributing not only to outstanding patient outcomes but also to the development of clinical pathways, education initiatives, and service improvements. This role offers a genuine opportunity to grow your expertise and make a lasting impact in a fast-evolving specialty. Your time will split between three days on site and two days working remotely.
What will you be doing?
- Conduct clinical reviews via video call with patients during their journey through the clinic.
- Prescribe medicines and tailor treatments to individual patient needs.
- Provide expert guidance to patients on treatment options.
- Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
- Help to answer complex clinical queries and provide guidance to our patient support and other external teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with GMC standards.
- Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
- Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
What do you need?
- Registered medical practitioner with the GMC and a full licence to practice.
- Completion of Foundation Year 2 (F2) training or equivalent clinical experience including a placement in GP or A&E.
- Experience working in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of CBPM is desired not essential or willingness to undergo specialised training.
- Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings.
- Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands.
- Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems.
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflows.
