We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our London team. This is a hybrid role: 3 days in the London office and 2 days remotely. You will play a key part in prescribing and reviewing cannabis‑based medicines for patients with complex conditions. The role is a 40‑hour working week, with one Saturday per month.
Key responsibilities
- Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
- Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
- Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
- Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.
- Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
- Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
What we are looking for
- GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification.
- At least 2 years prescribing experience.
- Experience working in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of CBPM is desired (not essential) or willingness to undergo specialised training.
- Clear and confident communication across clinical and non‑clinical settings.
- Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands.
- Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems.
- Well‑organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage complex workflows.
