We’re looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing Specialist to lead and scale patient acquisition in Germany, as Montu/Alternaleaf expands its fully legal, regulated medical cannabis offering. You’ll be the first dedicated performance marketer for the German market, with the freedom to test, learn and scale - backed by a high-performing marketing team of 9 specialists across growth, brand, content, product and CRM. You won’t be starting from scratch! You’ll be shaping something meaningful, with strong support, proven infrastructure, and real investment behind growth. Montu is already a market leader across the UK and Australia. Germany is next - and you’ll play a pivotal role in making that happen.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own performance marketing in Germany end-to-end, turning data into growth and strategy into results.
- Launch, run and optimise multi-channel paid campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms.
- Test and scale creatives, audiences and funnels to drive patient acquisition.
- Analyse and optimise key metrics including CAC, CTR, CVR and ROAS.
- Build and maintain dashboards using GA4, Looker / Data Studio and ad platforms.
- Manage and reallocate budgets based on live performance and insights.
- Work closely with Brand, Product, CRM, UX and CRO teams to optimise the full funnel.
- Ensure all messaging is fully compliant, accurate and culturally relevant for Germany.
- Localise and adapt campaigns for German market and regulatory nuances.
- Support innovative growth experiments, partnerships and new acquisition channels.

- Native or professional-level German, plus fluent English

- Strong hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads
- Highly analytical, with a clear, data-led approach to optimisation
- Confident translating insights into clear actions and improvements
- Organised, adaptable and collaborative in fast-moving environments
- Passion for ethical, responsible marketing and improving patient journeys
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, fintech, etc.)
- Knowledge of GDPR / TTDSG
- Experience with affiliates or influencer marketing
- Familiarity with SEO or CRO
