About the role: We are looking for a delivery-focused Finance Projects & Transformation Lead to join our growing team at Montu UK. This role will play a key part in modernising how finance operates - improving systems, processes and tasks so we can move faster, make better decisions, and scale with confidence. You’ll work closely with Finance, Operations, IT and senior stakeholders to build and deliver a transformation roadmap - covering system implementation & improvement, process automation, and streamlined AP, AR & Payroll processes and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity and leaving behind a finance function that runs smoother, cleaner, and smarter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a finance transformation roadmap, focused on automation, optimisation and scalable operating models.
- Lead system implementations and migrations (e.g., XERO Accounting & Payroll / Oracle NetSuite ERP / HiBob HRIS), including planning, testing, UAT and go-live readiness.
- Standardise and improve end-to-end core finance processes: GL, AP, AR and reporting to increase speed, accuracy and control.
- Drive change management: training, documentation, stakeholder comms, and adoption of new processes/tools.
- Act as the key bridge between Finance, Operations and IT, ensuring priorities, timelines and outcomes stay aligned.
- Improve data quality, reporting reliability and compliance, ensuring processes meet required standards and support decision-making.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience leading finance transformation and/or large-scale finance change initiatives (process + systems).
- Strong ERP experience (ideally AP Automation, Global and/or Outsourced payroll, Inventory Management, Oracle NetSuite) plus automation/process improvement tooling.
- Deep understanding of finance processes and accounting principles across record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash.
- Confident influencer - able to manage resistance, bring people along, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance/Accounting/Business; CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA (or studying towards) highly preferred.
- Clear communicator who can translate between technical and non-technical teams and keep delivery on track.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary
- 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after one year & 30 after two years)
