A leading US law firm is looking to hire a 1-5 PQE Associate into its busy and highly regarded Structured Finance / Asset-Backed Securities team in London.

The team has an excellent deal flow and advises major financial institutions, arrangers, issuers, investors and alternative capital providers on a broad range of structured finance transactions.

This is an attractive opportunity for a lawyer looking to build a broad structured finance practice.

The team offers exposure across a range of products and transactions, with associates given the opportunity to work across matters rather than being narrowly siloed into one product area.

The ideal candidate will have

  • 1-5 PQE experience in structured finance, securitisation, ABS, banking & finance or a closely related area.
  • Ideally UK-trained and qualified, although applications from foreign-qualified lawyers with strong relevant experience are welcomed.
  • Strong technical, drafting and transactional skills.
  • Experience working on sophisticated, multi-party transactions.
  • Commerciality, attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a busy team environment.

The role would suit someone who wants high-quality deal exposure without being pigeonholed into a narrow specialism, with the opportunity to develop expertise across a broad range of structured finance and ABS work.

In-house lawyers with relevant structured finance / securitisation experience are also encouraged to apply.
