A leading firm is looking to appoint a junior Project Manager or Business Analyst to support the delivery of a large-scale commercial contracts project for a major client. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a commercial contracts, corporate or wider legal project background who enjoys bringing structure to high-volume workstreams, keeping stakeholders aligned, and helping a project run smoothly from set-up through to delivery.
The role will support a senior lawyer and technology team on a live project involving the creation and management of a significant volume of supplier notices following a business sale. It sits at the intersection of legal delivery, project management, data handling and process improvement.
The successful person will help with project set-up, review and organise client data, coordinate internal and external communications, keep trackers and process documents up to date, and work closely with the technology team on workflow tools, template creation, outreach and automation. Once the project is live, they will help manage the central inbox, monitor progress across a large volume of live matters, coordinate chasers and e-signature activity, escalate negotiations where needed, and support client reporting.
This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive and calm under pressure, with experience of large-scale projects and an interest in legal operations, contracts work or tech-enabled delivery. You will need strong attention to detail, confidence in dealing with stakeholders, and the ability to keep multiple moving parts on track.
Experience in a commercial or corporate legal environment would be highly beneficial, as would previous exposure to process-driven contract projects, legal technology platforms, data-heavy workstreams or client-facing delivery. This is a full-time, six-month contract role with remote working.
