A respected, established law firm based in the heart of London is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Legal PA / Secretary to join their busy property team. Known for its collaborative culture and high-quality work, the firm offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes, and takes real pride in supporting fee earners to maximise their time with clients.

This is a full-time, office-based role (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm), the firm currently offers hybrid working, typically 3–4 days in the office, depending on workload.

We’re looking for someone with over five years of conveyancing experience who is confident managing files, liaising with solicitors and agents, and keeping transactions moving smoothly. You’ll be taking direct instructions from fee earners and running with them confidently. The ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise your own workload, and keep pace with a busy pipeline of property matters is key.

Day to day, you’ll be preparing documents and correspondence, opening and closing files, managing searches and Land Registry applications, assisting with billing, and ensuring that transactions complete seamlessly. You’ll also play a valuable part in the team’s weekly rota, handling Land Registry requisitions and helping with post-completion matters. From time to time, there may be requirements to support the wider team with reception cover.

You’ll need to bring strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Experience with case management systems and good IT literacy will help you hit the ground running. Familiarity with software like Partner for Windows, Elite, or iManage would be a bonus but isn’t essential.

The firm offers a competitive benefits package, including private healthcare, pension contributions, and life assurance at four times your salary. You’ll also be joining a supportive, down-to-earth environment where people genuinely value the contribution of their support teams.

If you’re an experienced conveyancing secretary or PA looking for your next role in a firm that values your skills, this could be the perfect opportunity.
