🚀 Legal Contract Consultant (Alternatives) – 12-Month Contract

We’re working on behalf of a leading global investment management firm to find a Legal Contract Consultant to support their Alternatives legal team on a 12-month contract . This opportunity is ideal for a Junior Lawyer or experienced Paralegal with solid contract negotiation experience and a keen interest in financial services.

This role will require a full time office presence (ie. 5 days per week) with offices located in the West End.

In this role, you'll review and negotiate early-stage transaction documents—such as NDAs, consultancy agreements, and engagement letters—while also supporting regulatory processes involving Material Nonpublic Information (MNPI). You'll collaborate closely with legal and portfolio management professionals across a fast-paced and dynamic alternatives investment platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, consultancy agreements, and engagement documents
• Manage relationships with outsourced NDA providers to ensure consistent service quality
• Support regulatory and compliance procedures related to MNPI
• Liaise with portfolio managers, internal legal teams, and external counsel
• Coordinate internal approval workflows and maintain accurate document records
• Update legal templates and maintain internal documentation standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Law degree (or GDL equivalent)
• Experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal environment, ideally within financial services
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
