A forward-thinking property management business is seeking an experienced In-House Property solicitor to join its growing legal team. The company manages significant leasehold portfolios and works closely with landlords, developers, and leaseholders on a broad range of property matters.
Youβll provide legal and practical advice across a diverse portfolio, handling a mix of residential property and leasehold issues. This is a varied position offering exposure to both advisory and contentious work.
Key responsibilities include:
β’ Advising on day-to-day residential property matters across large leasehold portfolios
β’ Supporting on disputes (service charge, repair obligations, enfranchisement, right to manage, and First-tier Tribunal matters)
β’ Assisting with Building Safety Act (BSA) issues, leaseholder protections, and related compliance
β’ Reviewing and managing external legal advice where required
β’ Working closely with asset management, property, and operations teams to ensure practical, risk-based solutions
Weβre looking for a solicitor with strong residential property knowledge and the confidence to advise on a range of landlord and tenant matters.
You will have:
β’ A solid grounding in residential property law (ideally within private practice or in-house)
β’ Some exposure to property disputes and leasehold issues
β’ Awareness or working knowledge of BSA/leaseholder protection matters
β’ The ability to manage a varied workload and communicate clearly with non-lawyers
