An elite US law firm in London is looking to hire a Structured Finance Paralegal to join its finance team on a one-year contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, ambitious and proactive paralegal to join a highly regarded structured finance practice, supporting partners and associates on a broad range of securitisation, structured finance and asset-backed finance transactions.
The team works across a wide variety of asset classes and financing structures, including asset-backed securitisations, CLOs, structured credit, receivables financing, warehouse financing, fund finance, residential mortgage-backed transactions, NPLs, direct lending and other bespoke or more complex financing arrangements.
The successful candidate will provide support across live transactional matters, assisting with document management, conditions precedent processes, signing and closing mechanics, transaction bibles, matter coordination, post-completion work and general deal support. This role would suit someone who enjoys technical, fast-moving transactional work and wants to be close to the detail of sophisticated finance matters.
The firm is looking for someone who has already gained paralegal experience within a US or international law firm. Previous experience in structured finance or securitisation would be ideal, although candidates with strong transactional finance experience from capital markets, banking, leveraged finance, private credit, fund finance or similar teams will also be considered.
The right candidate will be highly organised, confident working in a busy environment and able to take ownership of tasks. They will need strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to work well with partners, associates and wider deal teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a real go-getter who wants to build further experience within a leading US law firm environment and support a busy, highly regarded team. Salary will be dependent on experience.
