Our client is a leading global financial institution who is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its EMEA legal team, supporting a broad Prime Services business.
The role offers exposure to a wide range of products, including cash and synthetic prime brokerage, securities lending, futures and options execution and clearing, and OTC derivatives clearing. Responsibilities include advising on client onboarding, product development, legal documentation, regulatory change and risk management across the business.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer from a leading law firm or an in-house institution with between 3-6 years' PQE.
- Experience in prime financial services, derivatives or broader FS regulatory work.
- Strong knowledge of UK and European financial services regulation.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
The role would suit a derivatives lawyer who is looking to do more advisory work or a FS regulatory lawyer who would like to expand into markets related regulatory and derivatives work.
