An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Debt Capital Markets lawyer to join the legal team of a leading global investment bank in London.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an associate with 2‑4 years’ PQE from a top‑tier law firm to make their first move in‑house and work closely with front‑office stakeholders on a wide range of DCM transactions.

You will advise on a wide variety of debt capital markets matters, supporting the bank’s business across multiple products and jurisdictions.

Working as part of a high‑performing legal team, you will gain exposure to complex and innovative transactions while developing strong commercial relationships across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on debt capital markets transactions, including EMTN programmes and standalone issuances.
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating transaction documentation.
  • Providing legal support to business and control functions on regulatory and product‑related matters.
  • Working closely with external counsel and internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
