An excellent opportunity has arisen for a French-speaking Paralegal to join a leading London litigation team on a one-year contract. The role sits within a highly regarded Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud department, known for handling complex, cross-border disputes involving multinational clients, governments, and high-net-worth individuals.

You will be supporting a team of experienced lawyers on one high-profile, international case. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to significant litigation proceedings and client work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and legal support throughout the life of the case
  • Prepare hearing and trial materials, including bundles and indices
  • Liaise with external parties such as transcribers, Counsel, and experts
  • Draft legal research memos on a range of issues
  • Take detailed notes during client meetings and conference calls
  • Handle French-language communication and documentation as needed
Requirements:
  • Fluent in written and spoken French and English
  • A law degree or GDL, plus LPC or BPTC (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of one year’s paralegal experience in a litigation department
  • Experience working on complex, large-scale cases
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written communication and confident interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
