A highly regarded international finance practice is seeking a talented and commercially minded Banking Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its London team advising across complex leveraged and sponsor-driven financing work. The team is recognised for its role in some of the most sophisticated and multi-jurisdictional financings in the market, working with leading private equity sponsors and corporate clients on transactions spanning acquisition finance, refinancings, debt solutions and bespoke strategic mandates.
This is a rare opportunity to be the PSL for a team that operates at the intersection of large-scale corporate finance and private equity markets, where technical excellence is matched by a strong culture of client-focused, commercial delivery.
You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers to support knowledge management, precedents, training, technical updates and thought leadership across banking and finance topics relevant to sponsor, lender and capital markets work. The role demands someone who understands the nuances of financial transactions, can distil complex legal developments into practical guidance for fee earners, and enjoys supporting a high-performing team through proactive insight, resource development and issue resolution.
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor or equivalent with strong technical knowledge of banking and finance law, coupled with excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills. You should be comfortable engaging with senior lawyers on best practice, tending to precedent libraries and practice notes, and playing a central role in knowledge-sharing, training and ensuring consistency of approach.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, intellectually rigorous environment and is excited about contributing to a team that consistently delivers high-value client work and has a reputation for market-leading expertise.
