This role is designed for a high-performer ready to take a lead support role for a high-net-worth (HNW) book with a specific focus on complex credit structures and mortgage lending. You will act as the primary technical and relationship anchor for a Client Relationship Officer, managing a sophisticated pipeline of UK and International clients within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Private Banking Assistant include:
- Advanced Credit & Mortgage Facilitation: Take the lead on the end-to-end administration of residential real estate lending. This includes coordinating mortgage applications, liaising with credit risk teams, and ensuring all lending documentation is meticulously executed.
- Complex Onboarding & Enhanced Due Diligence: Own the full KYC/AML lifecycle for high-complexity clients. Perform deep-dive analysis on Source of Wealth (SoW) and Source of Funds (SoF), ensuring seamless submission and approval for high-value prospects.
- Senior Investment Support: Manage the production of mandatory suitability reports and investor profile reviews. Ensure all files remain compliant with MiFID II and internal standards, specifically regarding discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios.
- Strategic Client Engagement: Act as a senior point of contact for clients, resolving complex inquiries regarding FX trading, credit facilities, and payments independently before escalation.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Navigate internal relationships across Operations, Credit Risk, and Compliance to streamline the onboarding of debt-heavy structures and offshore entities.
