3-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Paternity Cover) – Immediate Start

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded private banking and asset management firm, as they seek an accomplished senior marketer to provide three months' paternity-leave cover within its Investment & Client Solutions Marketing team. Operating at Associate Director level, this is a hands‐on, fast‐moving brief for someone who can step in quickly and keep a portfolio of high‐profile initiatives moving without losing momentum.

Reporting to the Head of Investment & Client Solutions Marketing, you will act as a senior marketing partner to investment, product and client‐facing teams—keeping projects on track, stakeholders aligned, and every output on‐brand and fully compliant. The role centres on four flagship workstreams, including a major annual Investment Summit and an extensive, ongoing rebranding drive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Annual Investment Summit
    • Take ownership of the day‐to‐day marketing workstream for the firm's flagship annual investment summit, from early planning through to post‐event follow‐up.
    • Coordinate senior internal stakeholders — investment solutions, relationship managers and senior leadership — alongside external agencies.
    • Oversee the development of event communications and collateral, including invitations, agendas, speaker biographies, presentations and follow‐up materials.
    • Ensure all content is on‐brand, compliant and consistent with the firm's investment views and client communication standards.
    • Track key metrics such as registrations, attendance, engagement and feedback, providing concise reporting and recommendations.
  • Next-Generation Client Network
    • Support the strategic positioning and visibility of the firm's next‐generation client and future leaders network.
    • Plan and coordinate communications and engagement activity, including events, webinars, thought leadership and internal communications.
    • Ensure messaging resonates with a next‐generation client audience while remaining aligned to the brand and strategic priorities.
    • Monitor participation, engagement and feedback, and help refine the communications approach.
  • Rebranding Programme
    • Drive the rollout of a significant rebranding across key marketing and client touchpoints.
    • Prioritise and coordinate updates to fund and strategy materials, presentations, brochures and digital assets.
    • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring the visual identity and tone of voice are applied consistently throughout.
    • Work closely with design, brand and compliance colleagues to manage approvals and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Fund Content Review & Simplification
    • Lead the review, simplification and standardisation of fund content, including product sheets, strategy overviews, presentations and web copy.
    • Translate technical investment language into clear, client‐friendly messaging suitable for private banking clients and prospects.
    • Partner with investment specialists, product management and compliance to keep content accurate, balanced and approved.
    • Introduce or refine content structures and templates to improve clarity, consistency and efficiency.
  • General Marketing & Stakeholder Management
    • Provide senior marketing project management across these initiatives and other ad‐hoc priorities.
    • Manage timelines, approvals and stakeholder expectations, escalating issues where required.
    • Support budget oversight on assigned projects, including cost estimates, purchase orders, invoice follow‐up and simple tracking.

Requirements

  • Typically 7–10 years' marketing or communications experience, ideally gained within private banking, wealth management or asset management.
  • A proven track record in project‐based marketing, spanning investment or client events (conferences, summits, webinars), brand or rebranding initiatives, and investment product or fund marketing materials.
  • A strong background in investment content (funds, strategies and markets) and a flair for simplifying it for non‐specialist audiences.
  • A record of managing complex, multi‐stakeholder projects with clear outcomes, timelines and governance.
  • Prior experience within a global or matrix organisation is an advantage.
  • Educated to degree level (2:1 or above) in a relevant subject.
