This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role within a leading Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) in the UK, combining deep client relationship management with strategic business development. You will be instrumental in helping high-net-worth individuals and families achieve their philanthropic goals through expertly managed charitable giving.

Duties of the Relationship Manager (Charitable Trust / DAF) include:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and deepen enduring relationships with an existing portfolio of high-net-worth families and foundations within the charitable trust/DAF. Provide expert guidance on philanthropic strategies, grant-making processes, and DAF administration, ensuring alignment with donor intentions. Facilitate the efficient and compliant distribution of grants, overseeing due diligence and reporting for donor-advised funds.
  • Business Development: Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities from the bank's existing client base who are not yet utilizing the charitable trust services. Proactively develop relationships with external high-net-worth individuals, families, and their advisors (e.g., lawyers, accountants, wealth managers) to introduce the value proposition of the DAF. Develop and execute strategic outreach plans, presentations, and networking initiatives to expand the trust's client portfolio and market presence. Represent the charitable trust at industry events, seminars, and relevant professional networking functions.

Requirements for the successful Relationship Manager include:

  • Proven track record in business development within the financial services sector, ideally engaging with high-net-worth clients.
