Due to exciting growth and expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Business Relationship Manager to join a specialist Property Lending bank in London. You will be responsible for supporting lending activity across the mortgage function, and maintaining and growing relationships with an allocated pool of Brokers. You will be responsible for liaising actively with Brokers via outbound telephony, and driving new business and registrations, whilst supporting Senior Development Directors with new mortgage business.
Key Duties of the Mortgage Lending Relationship Manager:
- Develop and implement a proactive contact strategy for brokers in a designated region, considering broker segmentation (Tier 1-3) and aligning with Field BDMs/Key Accounts.
- Manage a portfolio of the top 101-500 specialist broker firms within Club/Network distribution, focusing on driving new registrations, DIPs, and FMAs.
- Collaborate with field Business Development Managers / Key Account colleagues to achieve joint FAM/origination targets.
- Support the Sales and Key Account team in meeting team-wide objectives.
- Oversee daily tasks such as new updates, resolving DIP failures, welcome calls, and managing brokers who haven't submitted FMAs in the past three months to ensure effective panel management.
- Participate in monthly calling campaigns organized by corporate accounts to support specific distributors.
- Contribute to sales meetings by reporting on marketing initiatives, inquiries, sales, and application volumes.
- Provide telephone and email support to brokers with inquiries.
- Collect and share market intelligence on competitor movements with the Intermediary support team.
Requirements for the successful Mortgage Lending Relationship Manager to include:
