They are seeking a Loan Operations specialist to join their team, reporting directly to the Operations Director. This is a pivotal position supporting the front-office team in the implementation, documentation, and control of bespoke property development loans. You will manage the entire loan lifecycle, ensuring precision and compliance at every stage.
Key Responsibilities of the Loan Operations specialist include:
- Loan Lifecycle Management: Manage the implementation and control of approved loan facilities from start to finish.
- Drawdown Oversight: Review Quantity Surveyor (QS) reports, verify stage payment certificates, and prepare payments for approval.
- Third-Party Coordination: Instruct and manage relationships with solicitors and surveyors to ensure security, valuations, and monitoring requirements are met.
- System Administration: Post transactions via the Phoebus system and perform reconciliations between bank and loan accounts.
- Compliance & Risk: Conduct CDD and AML checks on directors and beneficial owners; monitor arrears and escalate issues to Lending Directors.
- Reporting: Produce monthly management information (MI) and verify complex financial statements.
