With various commodities and lanes, Montgomery Transport offers flexibility on how YOU want to get paid: percentage or CPM. Our Freedom to Choose fleet offers OTR drivers steady freight, unbeatable support, and maximized home time.

New Orientation and Driver Referral Pay Increase (5/12/2025 through 9/30/2025).

Compensation

• Pay options:

• Option 1: $0.53 – $0.55 CPM in base pay + OD Pay + annual $0.01 CPM tenure pay increase (Driver earns $70,000 – $75,000 annually).
• Option 2: 27% of Line Haul with Increased Weekly Minimum Pay: 30 days – 2 years = $1,200; 2 years+ = $1,300.

Additional Advantages

• Orientation pay increased to $10,000 (5/12/2025 through 9/30/2025) – paid in first 180 days: Week 1 = $1,500; Week 2 = $1,200; Day 120 = $2,300; Day 180 = $5,000.

Home Time

Montgomery makes sure your home time is MAXIMIZED. Drivers enjoy a guaranteed 34 hours of home time but are averaging 46-53 hours. This is supported by analytics to track home time and improve quality of life.

Driver Loyalty Pay

• New Drivers Pay: $0.53 CPM starting base pay
• 1-Year Loyalty (worked at a previous employer for one year): $0.54 CPM starting base pay
• 2-Years Loyalty (worked at a previous employer for two years): $0.55 CPM starting base pay

Job Requirements

• 1-year CDL-A OTR and 6 months flatbed experience
• No more than three moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years
• No DUI in the past 10 years
• Experience hauling steel coil is a plus, but not required
