We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join the team to support and deliver marketing activity for Independent Hotel Show Munich and another UK-based event. This role is ideal for someone with at least one to two years’ marketing experience who is looking to develop their career within exhibitions and events. You will report to the Marketing Manager and work with the wider portfolio team to attract the right visitors and exhibitors, helping to deliver strong ROI for exhibitors and an excellent experience for visitors.
The role will focus on executing marketing campaigns across key channels including website content, email, social media and PPC, delivering activity in German for Independent Hotel Show Munich and in English for the UK-based event.
IDEAL CANDIDATE- One to two years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally within exhibitions, events or a related B2B environment
- Native German speaker, with strong written and spoken communication skills, including copywriting and proofreading
- A solid understanding of multi-channel campaign delivery, including digital, email, social, print and partnerships
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, finance and PR, as well as external agencies
- Willing to attend exhibitions, networking events and meetings in the UK and overseas as required
- Friendly and approachable, with a natural ability to build strong working relationships
- A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to shared goals
- Enthusiastic about the events and hospitality industries, with an interest in food, drink and related sectors
- Flexible and resilient, particularly during busy campaign periods
- Eager to learn, develop and take ownership of responsibilities

- Experience supporting or delivering full-funnel marketing campaigns across the marketing mix
- Strong copywriting, content creation and proofreading skills across multiple platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of CMS and email marketing platforms
- Good understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO and PPC
- Ability to manage campaign trackers, schedules and documentation accurately
- Confident producing presentations and branded materials for internal and external use
- Organised, solutions-focused and able to work independently as well as part of a team

The central London, dog friendly offices are close to the bustle of Oxford Street & Marylebone High Street with access to the private gardens in Manchester Square. Hybrid working is offered to all applicants with a minimum of at least 3 days in the office, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Core hours are 9‑5pm, flexibility outside these hours will be required to suit the needs of the business.
