We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the team and lead the marketing strategy and campaign delivery for FIT Show. We are looking for an experienced exhibition marketer at a Marketing Manager level, with strong campaign management and stakeholder management skills.
FIT Show is the UK’s leading trade event for the window, door, flat glass, hardware and roofing industry, bringing together thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors from across the sector.
Reporting into the Marketing Director, this role will be responsible for driving high‑quality visitor attendance and exhibitor ROI through effective multi‑channel marketing campaigns across email, website, social media, PPC, partnerships and content. Collaboration is a key part of the role, working closely with marketing, sales, content, operations and data teams, as well as external partners and the wider industry, to deliver commercially successful campaigns and an outstanding event experience.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, implement and monitor marketing communication activities to ensure deadlines are met within budget and in line with event marketing goals.
- Achieve visitor acquisition targets for the event and brand.
- Work closely with the digital agency to maximise customer acquisition and lead generation through paid search, display and paid social campaigns.
- Manage and support junior members of the marketing team, helping to develop skills, confidence and campaign delivery.
- Evaluate campaigns and make future recommendations.
- Support website tracking to improve reporting and analysis capabilities.
- Manage and optimise website content and user journeys to support visitor acquisition and conversion.
- Act as brand champion, ensuring best practice adoption.
- Track industry and marketing developments, reporting findings to stakeholders.
- Track and report campaign performance regularly across digital, social, PPC/SEO, partnerships and visitor acquisition activity, identifying successes and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and track agreed marketing spend for the brand.
- Maintain clear oversight of all campaign activity and delivery stages to ensure smooth and effective execution.
- Work closely with the Event Manager and wider event team to support campaign delivery, commercial objectives and strategic event growth.
- Work closely with the sales team to support exhibitor acquisition, retention and lead generation opportunities.
- Use campaign performance, audience insights and market data to continuously optimise marketing activity and drive commercial results.
- Work with the Data Team to optimise the health and performance of visitor and exhibitor databases, including new data builds, warm‑up campaigns and growth areas.
- Previous B2B exhibition or event marketing experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of digital systems, best practices and measurement tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of writing copy for digital platforms.
- Experience using digital platforms to build emails, website pages, etc.
- Ability to deliver quality work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
- Capable of managing a full campaign from start to finish.
- Confident in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines and accommodating rapid changes.
- Ability to multitask numerous projects throughout the event cycle.
- Team player who collaborates on projects with others.
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
- Strong marketing experience on a multifaceted campaign covering all elements of the marketing mix.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
- Confident communicator in all mediums – written, face‑to‑face and on the phone.
- Keen eye for detail and strong copywriting skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
