Montgomery Events, part of Montgomery Group, is looking for an commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and campaign delivery for two new summit and exhibition launches.

Reporting to the Event Director, you will develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive visitor and delegate acquisition, support exhibitor and sponsorship sales, and establish both events as must-attend industry events.
- Position Overview & Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Campaign Delivery
- Own and optimise the marketing strategy for two launch summit and expo events, aligning activity with commercial objectives.
- Plan and deliver integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns, meeting deadlines, budgets and campaign objectives.
- Deliver visitor and delegate acquisition targets through creative, data-led marketing campaigns.
- Manage campaign budgets, monitor marketing performance, and report and make recommendations to the Events Director.
- Evaluate campaign performance throughout the lifecycle, using customer insight and analytics to improve results.
- Brand Development & Product Launch
- Build two new event brands, ensuring a consistent identity, tone of voice and customer proposition across all channels.
- Oversee the development and optimisation of the event websites, ensuring an strong customer experience and strong conversion performance.
- Develop launch collateral, sales materials, digital assets and presentations to support the launch of both events.
- Grow social media channels, digital platforms and content strategies that build awareness, engagement, and community.
- Audience Growth & Digital Marketing
- Work with the digital agency to maximise customer acquisition through paid search, paid social, display advertising, SEO.
- Develop audience personas and segmentation strategies to improve campaign targeting and customer engagement.
- Work with the Data Team to grow and optimise visitor and exhibitor databases to identify acquisition opportunities and improve data quality.
- Manage website content, user journeys and conversion optimisation to maximise registrations and enquiries.
- Track campaign performance across digital, social, web, email and partnerships to improve ROI.
- Use AI-powered marketing tools to improve campaign performance, improve efficiency and generate customer insight.
- Commercial Collaboration
- Work with the sponsorship and exhibition sales team to support exhibitor acquisition, retention, and commercial growth.
- Partner with the delegate sales team to deliver delegate acquisition campaigns that meet agreed attendance targets.
- Partner with the content team to develop compelling conference programmes and content campaigns that attract and engage target audiences.
- Create collateral and campaigns that support commercial objectives across sponsorship, exhibition, and delegate sales.
- Ensure marketing activity supports the commercial strategy, contributing to revenue growth across all event products.
- Market Development
- Immerse yourself in the industries your events serve, building an understanding of customer needs, emerging trends, and competitor activity.
- Attend customer, industry, association and competitor events to build market knowledge and strengthen industry relationships.
- Develop strong relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders, supporting collaborative marketing initiatives and long-term event growth.
- Travel within the UK and internationally, where required, to represent Montgomery Group and support the successful launch of the events.
- Post Event
- Lead post-event analysis of marketing performance against agreed objectives and KPIs.
- Analyse visitor, delegate and exhibitor feedback with campaign analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Produce reports and recommendations that inform future campaign planning and event development.
- Apply learning and implement improvements to improve future commercial performance.

- Experience managing website development, optimisation and user journeys.
