An exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Associate (2+ PQE) to join a highly regarded Corporate Finance team at a leading international law firm. This team is trusted by top UK and global companies to deliver strategic, high-value M&A, public takeovers, IPOs, and secondary fundraisings. Handling hundreds of deals annually across the globe, they are recognised as a market leader in corporate transactions across financial services, tech, retail & consumer, and energy & infrastructure.
What You\’ll Do:
- Work on a full spectrum of corporate finance transactions, including M&A, public takeovers, IPOs, and fundraisings, from initial strategy through to closing and post-completion.
- Play an active role in business development, managing client relationships, leading pitches, and supporting the growth of the practice.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm, including mentoring and instructing trainees and paralegals, and working closely with senior team members on negotiations, document drafting, and client/investment bank meetings.
Who We\’re Looking For:
- 2+ years\’ PQE in corporate finance from a respected firm.
- Experience advising UK corporate clients on a wide range of transactions, including IPOs, secondary fundraisings, takeovers, and general public company matters.
- Strong technical expertise in UK Listing and Prospectus Regulation Rules, Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, and the Takeover Code, with proven ability to advise on regulatory frameworks.
