The Role:
The firm is seeking an Associate (3+ PQE) to join its Banking & Finance team in London. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a range of high-profile, complex financing transactions, gaining exposure to both lender and borrower-side work.
Responsibilities include:
- Structuring, drafting, and negotiating key transaction documents
- Advising clients on complex financing structures, risk, and market trends
- Managing transactions from term sheet through to closing and post-completion matters
- Collaborating with colleagues across international offices on multi-jurisdictional deals
- Developing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years\’ experience in a leading Banking & Finance team
- Strong exposure to leveraged & acquisition finance, corporate finance, real estate finance, or fund finance
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- A proactive, commercially focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong academic background and qualification in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction
