Main Purpose:

To design creative and inspiring artwork for The Great British Confectionery Group.

Main Duties:

• Produce innovative, creative graphic designs and artwork for use in our packaging and any other required promotional material for Montezuma’s and Bristows
• Constantly developing ranges to ensure they evolve and continue to meet the needs of our customers
• Work closely with the NPD team presenting their ideas and concepts, ensuring the designs are always on brand and cost-effective
• Working alongside the Commercial Director – Brand and Licensing, Director of Retail, Marketing Manager, Sales team, Online Manager on artwork and design task and the Head of Technical to ensure a safe and exciting product
• Designing and managing branded licenses from new concept to final approval
• Ensure all artwork adheres to current and relevant legislation
• Ensure all labelling meets trading standards and are updated as and when required
• Communicate design issues and suggest solutions
• Deliver any projects as required
• Flexibility to travel to meetings with both Customers and Licensors and other offices within the Group

Skills and experience required:

• Highly creative and able to think differently
• Ability to interpret ideas at a variety of price points and have a commercial mindset
• Extraordinary communication skills – verbal and written
• Excellent organisation skills and able to prioritise
• Good b rand awareness
• A self-starter, and able to use their initiative when required
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Able to see tasks through from concept to completion
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative suite
